Each year between 20 to 25% of all children, sustain a preventable injury sufficiently severe
to require medical attention, missed school, and/or bed rest. For every childhood death
caused by injury, there are approximately 34 hospitalizations, 1000 emergency department
visits, many more visits to private physicians and school nurses, and an even larger number

Our goal at The Safety Simon Company is to significantly reduce these statistics
by providing a unique and effective safety education show for young children.

Safety Simon stands 4 feet tall, which makes him the perfect height to easily relate to children. He walks, talks, waves, smiles, sings, and winks all while teaching kids important safety lessons. Safety Simon comes to life through remote control operation by a safety instructor. A built in microphone allows the operator to “magically” respond to questions via Simon’s mouth.
